NOTES FOR STUDENTS
- Bring your overlocker, all its accessories and handbook. It is essential that your overlocker is in good working order.
- Bring plenty of polyester threads. If you have any decorative threads you would like to try, please bring them along as well.
- Please bring sheets of plain white A4 paper to pin your samples to and a pen to write instructions on the sheets.
- You may also wish to bring an A4 ring binder and plastic wallets to store your samples for easy reference.
There are extra feet that can be purchased for your overlocker for piping, beading, gathering, blind-hemming and elasticating. Some of them work better than others. It is NOT essential that you have them for the course as the tutor will demonstrate them on her machine. You can then decide which ones you feel will be most useful for you to purchase.
